I have this battery but don't need it:

I bought one of these at the great Ritz Blitz thinking I could use it on my new Optio W-30. However, it doesn't work. So, my loss is your gain. If you want it, you can have it. I'll even send it to you via the cheapest method I can find.

In order to make it fair, I'll wait a week to pick the recipient based on the respondant with the most posts here on Pentax Forums (gotta reward the old timers).

I'm tempted, but my wife already has 2 batteries for her A40 - it would just be greedy for me to PM.

VERY generous offer.
However, the D-Li68 is for the Optio S10 and S12.

I made the same mistake - bought it at a Ritz with no info available instantly, wife in a hurry, and it's NOT for the A40 (D-Li8).

No matter - I knew it was a risk, and it was like $10 or so!

So - if ya got an A40 - this ain't the battery for it!

Thanks for the clarification, Tony. I'll edit the listing to reflect that it's not for the A40. All I know is that it's not for the W30.
