Item Description
Anyone that has been here for a while knows how highly regarded this lens is. This is the K02 version as documented by forum member "rparmar". For those that have not read about this lens and its cousins I have included some links to rparmar's work with them. Thanks rparmar.

This copy is in excellent condition across the board. Glass, body and mechanics are all beautiful and function flawlessly. The only things missing are the caps. I will pack it with a lens filter for protection. The only reason for me selling this is that I have the f/2.0 version.

GREAT LENS, not easy to find, snap this up immediately.

The K02 and K11 (and maybe A03) may be the best of the excellent Vivitar 28's, by a nose.

That famous shot by Gus is probably the best testament to this lens yet posted in this forum. I sold the K02, regretted it, then bought the K11 (essentially exact same lens) for a bit more than I sold the K02 for because I realized I was a moron for letting it go. Gus, in fact, brought this point home with that shot above.

Here are some more - seriously, this lens is good enough and rare enough to be worth more than $65.
