Dear All

This is a screwmount lens that has on it an adapter converting it to a Pentax K mount.
It seems to me that the adapter has had its little spring removed so the lens can be removed from the camera body more easily.
Also, the adapter seems to be attached to the threads of the lens. It may be that it is just screwed on tightly. I bought it that way, and never tried to remove the adapter.

The lens is in very good condition, and comes with the large front snap-on cap, as well as a back cap.

is it a Pentax or some other brand adapter?

first f3.8, then at f5.6. I used the camera handheld, 5-7 ft from the wall. Shake reduction was ON. I can't focus real well MF, which is part of the reason I am selling these lenses! I relied on the electronic focus confirmation of the camera.

This is the processing I did: Adjusted levels, and then I resized width of 800 and height of 532, then exported as jpg, quality 11 just to get the file size under 0.5 MB.

As I said before, the adapter has its little spring removed. Therefore, when one mounts the lens, it does not "click." But when you unmount it, the adapter stays on the lens.
I have not tried to separate the adapter from the lens, save from some gentle pressure, which yielded no results. There are no markings on the side of the adapter that I can see, except from the red dot. It looks like my other adapter which is original.
