[SOLD] Loads of gear: Olympus OM2n body, Oly and Pentax glass and more!

OK, so here's a HUGE lot of stuff for sale. PICTURES POSTED BELOW!!!

The deal: Paypal only (I pay the fees), standard or insured shipping available in the US at the buyers expense/risk. All international shipping will be insured and therefore not cheap. I will not ship to your cousin's brother's buddy's house. Just the confirmed Paypal address. I do my best to keep PM's and such in order. If you go over 24 hours from your PM with interest without making a commitment (not necessarily a payment), I will move down the list of interested parties.

The Gear:

Olympus OM2n body. Black. Excellent condition. Extremely minor brassing in a couple of places. Very clean camera. CLA’d in 2005. No hotshoe. Camera works beautifully. With body cap and manual. $99 SOLD!!!

Olympus OM 35mm/F2.8 G-Zuiko, Auto-W. Very good condition. The slightest of internal dust. No scratches or damage to the coating. Clean, snappy blades. Has front & rear caps. $30 SOLD!!!

Olympus OM 50mm/f1.8 Auto-S “made in Japan” version. No scratches or damage to coatings. Has some internal dust. The blades are clean, but slightly sluggish opening back up. It has lost a little snap. I have just noticed this condition, so I have probably been using the lens like this for a long time with no problems. Stunningly sharp lens. Has rear cap, 49-55mm step up ring and generic 55mm cap. $10 SOLD!!!

Olympus OM 28mm/f2.8 MC Auto-W. Excellent condition. Beautiful glass and clean, snappy blades. Has front & rear caps. $45 SOLD!!!

Pentax-M 50mm/f1.7 Very good condition. No scratches on glass or finish. Some internal dust. Blades are clean and snappy. Slight internal dust. Has rear cap – no front cap. $25 SOLD!!!

Pentax 50mm/f2 very clean lens. No scratches. Has slight internal dust. Blades are clean and snappy. Has generic front & rear caps. $15 SOLD!!!

Vivitar “Macro Focus” 70-300mm/f4.2-5.8 MC manual focus zoom lens. Does 1:4 macro. PK-A/R mount. Mounts and dismounts my K10d just fine. Zoom is smooth with no creep. Blades are clean and snappy. Has the “A” setting. Comes with the front & rear caps. $35 SOLD!!!

Gemini 28mm/f2.8 MC Auto lens. PK mount. I don’t know what the “auto” means because there is no “A” setting on the aperture ring. The barrel claims 1:5 macro capability. Glass has no scratches or damage to the coating and it has snappy blades. Some internal dust. Dented filter ring, so a filter won’t mount. $5 Or free with other purchase! GIVEN AWAY!!!

Asahi Pentax Angle finder for Spotmatic. Good shape with case. Surprisingly bright. $30SOLD!!!

Pentax Spotmatic case $8 SOLD!!!

Holga 120N. The early version (not the better sealed one). Has some home made mods (taping inside, velcro outside, and a 46-49mm step up ring so that you can use 49mm filters (such as ND or funky colors, or coat a junk filer with vasoline for real blur). This model has the hotshoe, is threaded for a tripod and has a bulb setting. Comes with the original box and manual. $10 SOLD!!!

Vivitar 2800 Auto Thyristor flash. Clean little shoe-mount flash – great for those film bodies floating around out there. Head moves 0-90 degrees (forward to ceiling bounce. No swivel. Clean battery contacts – works fine. $8 SOLD!!!

Gossen Luna Pro light meter with case. Works fine. EDIT: Just to be clear -- this is the older meter that originally took mercury batteries. There are adapters and such to allow the use of modern batteries in this meter. A bargain at $20 SOLD!!!

Sekonic Studio Deluxe L-28c light meter. Excellent shape with case. Still has the extra slide in the back and the extra screen in the case pocket. Who needs batteries? Not this guy. WORKS! $30 SOLD!!!

Popular AC slave. 25 J output. Screw it into a lamp – instant fill flash. $10 SOLD!!!

PM's will be answered when I get the opportunity. I have limited internet access during the day at work so DON'T PANIC!

Cheers -- Adam

Do you have any sample pics from the Vivitar 70-300 you could share with us?

Thanks!

Heather, I don't have any sample pics at this time. I got this lens in a lot and didn't use it (I have an auto-focus 70-300 that is easier for an old man like me to use). Did I mention that I'm 37? (c: I will take a couple of photos this evening if that will help the cause. I hope you guys like flash photos!

All PM's replied to.

Some photos taken with the 70-300 lens. All are handheld -- some in dim evening light others with quick & dirty on-axis flash. Shot in raw at ISO 200 with no adjustments other than slight exposure tweak. In a couple of shots, I have the nearest flower in focus and the more distant ones show the bokeh. In the rose photos, my neighbor's house is in the background. You can't tell that it's a house. Details are in the descriptions.

Posted to Flickr to save bandwidth.

Here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.

This is the lens: Lens, lens, and lens.

Cheers!

Adam

That lens is widely available new and be had at a bargain in the marketplace -- that's where I got mine & it is on my camera 95% of the time. It's the Tamron 28-75/2.8 macro, etc, etc. I just looked at some photos that I took wide open handheld a couple of weeks ago & cropped some down to insane levels and they were still tack sharp. MY FAVORITE AF LENS EVER! Needless to say -- not for sale either.
