[SOLD] Pentax FA* 80-200/2.8

Indeed, one has to go!

It's a waste of nice Pentax glass to have it lying around in my closet never to be used again. I hope it will make someone else happy soon, link at:
eBay: Pentax FA* 80-200 f2.8 Powerzoom lens 80-200/2.8 (item 130107118424 end time 05-mei-07 14:30:18 CEST)

Cheers,
Mike

Mike,
Wow, looks like you must be in line for some serious glass to let go of this puppy!
I don't think you have much trouble getting a very good price for it.

Good luck,
JayT

That's a very honest and detailed description about the condition (and history) of the lens. Hope you'd get a good deal there.

Good luck

You finally let go one of these 2 legendary lenses. Not sure I have funds to bid for this one though ... I already made a reasonable bid but I wonder if you have a buy-it-now price? If not, I would have to be patient

Hi Jay,

I just bought a new Vaio laptop and now I found out that it does not fit inside the Lowepro Nature trekker AWII, seems I need a new bag first

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Frank,

I believe in honest trading, if I would buy something I would like the description to be as accurate as possible. It's too bad by macro skills are that good...... the spots on the lens look worse on the photo as they do in real life

Cheers,
Mike

I could not justify having two of them while I only use one. I try to use all of the lenses I've got on a regular basis and this one was used only once since the Africa trip. I have no idea about it's value while in this condition so I have not thought of a BIN.
I wish you all the best!

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike!

Oh No, one has to go??? That must be like losing an arm!

Seriously, wish I could read the e-bay ad. How much does 405 translate into dollars? I've been holding off lenses until the DA*50-135 comes out. Oh, the agony!!!

Indeed, my wife is actually quite prood of me that I'm selling one, something she did not expect at all :-)

I believe currently 1 euro is about 1.3 dollars.
It's indeed too bad the DA* zooms are delayed that much, I've got them on pre order as well but I think that we won't get to enjoy them till the end of summer here :-(

Cheers,
Mike

Hi,

from your test shots I see it works fine with small aperture numbers. What about f8-16, does these spots influence shots?

Right now at 450 Euros, it translates into ~613USD or about ~683CAN. The trick is to look at the url of the site and replace the ".nl" with ".com" or ".ca" and eBay will display at least the language and converted price of your home country.
