A couple if questions:
  • Pentax brand?
  • If so, what model (should be engraved on finder)?

That is the case he's talking about

I bought one of these recently. Fits the film cameras (Spotmatic, ME etc) perfectly without modification. I had to modify it a bit to fit my K20D but it works absolutely beautifully on it now.

It works just as it should!

The problem with the lining is inside the case used to store the finder, not with the finder itself.

There is no model number written on the finder, only "Asahi Pentax Japan".

Thanks for your input; you're correct, the problem is with the case, not the finder.

They are a highly desirable item for anyone that works below waist level. I should have jumped on it.
