3 in a week!

Hi Frank,

Suddenly these lenses are coming out of their hiding place it seems. Sold mine last weekend, I know there is another one on ebay and now this one shows up.
That's more than in whole last year :-)
Price definately seems very fair to me so I have no doubt you'll sell it soon.

Cheers,
Mike

I know. I had not seen any Fa* 80-200 f2.8 on sale til recently and they all came out being auctioned like spring weeds.

The one on ebay still got 2 days to go and there is this Fa 300 f2.8 on sale again as well, lowering to 2100 US dollars - a bargain!

p.s. Frank is really nice to help so many people selling their lenses.

If I were a rich man...

I would buy this! If I wasn't such an artsy-fartsy intellectual, I would have taken a caddying job at a nearby country club and had a bit more to put towards lenses. Then again, I wouldn't be allowed to be a member there based on my religious beliefs, so it was more of a moral decision than anything.

...but I'm ranting.

I wish I could pick up this beautiful piece of glass, but as a mere 13 year old, I doubt I really need anything that good.

Good luck selling!

Thanks Mike. Didn't check ebay for a while (well, did check your 80-200 thought ), don't really know the price for this thing. I told my friend about the price you got for yours, that's how he decided on the final price.

Why is he selling it? Because he's looking for a better or like new condition one for collection. He did manage to find a like brand new F*300/4.5 already

I don't like big heavy lenses, otherwise I might just snap it myself

Cheers!

I guess I've been doing this (b&s) for quite sometime, some of my friends are just too lazy (and shy) to do this themselves. That's how I end up selling (and buying) alot lenses Hope this lens stays in the forum...

BTW, roentarre, you really got some nice gear there, and great photos in your pbase galleries.

Thanks Just 13? Can't remember what I was doing when I was 13, but I had my first camera when I was 18 (bought a cheap 10USD p&s film camera in the first year of college, and the camera companied me for the entire 5 years of college life.)

When I was 13 (only 6 years ago) I had one camera, a Bell and Howell 35mm P&S camera with what I now see in albums to be a blurry top right quarter...LOL

Times have changed since then (un)fortunately! And it's all because of a grade 11 photography class when I picked up an MX and the *ist D costed $1500...

You are younger than I thought I was still using the cheap China made $10 P&S film camera when I was 19. Still got all the photos I took with that cheap camera, the only luxuary item I had during that time (the camera was worth about 5 months living cost back then)

You're killing me, frank. I've been trying to ignore your post in the hope that it will sell and I won't be tempted to buy it. I had a buy price on Mike's waterlogged 80-200 but fortunately Roenttare wanted it more. I really don't need to do this since I haven't bought my K10D yet.

Please, sell it quick so I don't have to keep thinking about it...

Thanks Eric

Actually there are several interested buyers already, but no one has confirmed the deal yet. Guess it's not a small tag item, we all need to think hard before we make the decision

If can't sell in a week or so, I'll put it on ebay and let the market decide ...
