Some pictures of the lens and some taken just now with it. They are in pairs and you can see the firs shot taken wide open, the second around f9.5 or f11. The last at f9.5 and then the same shot cropped. These are Jpegs straight out of the camera without sharpening or cropping.

Anyone looking for a great lens? As a note, I'll be at a wedding this afternoon and again tomorrow afternoon. So I will only be able to answer PM's etc late tonight or tomorrow morning.

Superb quality, for a zoom, throughout it's range. Probably the highest quality manual zoom Pentax has ever made. It's the only zoom I own, & I don't use zooms!

it is and I debated long and hard about letting it go. I'm still waffling on closing the listing. Easy to focus and the close up feature is funky but works well. You can zoom in the macro mode which makes composition and focus easy.

Sharp even wide open, solid as a tank and renders as well as most primes I've used (including the limiteds). The only thing a prime can beat this lens with is bokeh where there are a lot of background highlights. Zooms always have a tougher time with that.

For some reason, this lens reminds me a lot of the Minolta 28-135mm f/4-4.5 lens that is so highly regarded and rare in that system. I'd love to own one some day, but sadly I'm not able to jump at this opportunity.

Good luck with the sale, Peter.
