[SOLD] K100D Super w/NEW Pentax 18-55mm AL II Lens

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
K100D Super w/NEW Pentax 18-55mm AL II Lens

Asking Price
300 (Shipped in the continental U.S.)

Item Description
I have a Pentax K100D Super for sale with a brand new Pentax DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL II lens. I have had the body about a year, and take really really good care of it.

I am selling it as a kit, with an upgraded kit lens (from the standard kit lens for this camera), in the the Pentax DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL II. (Pictures below the post)

The lens is NEW, with the box never opened (The lens came with another camera I got later but was never used or even the box opened).

I know the users of this forum really know Pentax camera gear but if still interested you can get the specs the camera at DPReview or the like, and I think the review at Steves's is a really good overview:

Steves Digicams - Pentax K100D Super Digital SLR - Hands on Review

Just right to the specs
Steves Digicams - Pentax K100D Super Digital SLR - Hands on Review

Or there is a little also at DPreview:
Pentax K100D Super: Digital Photography Review

For the lens:
PENTAX DA Zoom Lens for Digital SLRs and Compacts: smc PENTAX DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL II

and this review is for the old model (pre II which is DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL) but that was a pretty good one too and this is a nice review.
Pentax DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL Lens Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review

The sale includes:

- the camera in the original box, incl. cap and covers for the flash connector etc., manual, software, cables etc. that it came with
- the brand new 18-55mm AL II lens, with the cap, hood etc that comes with it, all unopened.
- a set of Sanyo Eneloop Rechargable Batteries. These last a long long time and do not drain at all when the camera is off. (SANYO eneloop | Ready to use Rechargeable Battery - The only battery you will ever need) (Note: the camera can also take a special LION camera battery
- a brand new Pentax camera strap (also unused, will be from the new camera I got)

Thanks

I did not check Check/Money Order as I only would accept a money order or a cashiers check from a reputable bank.

Regarding the shipping, not sure if that works up there like that but what I meant was, just the buyer should pay whatever it actually is going to cost and I am open to use whatever carrier/service they want.

Not memorized. The camera is packed away in my office and I am out now and will be tomorrow as well, so I can get the exact count Wednesday for ya, but looking at the photos in Lightroom from the first I did with it till now, the numbers of the images seem to start when I got it with 1 (that one is gone but low nums are there) and increment by 1s steadily. Then looking at the last photo in lightroom before the ones from the new camera show up I see it is now 4629. I have not reset anything so that should be real close. I can check again Wed when I am in the office again as well.

thanks

Hello, got more questions about the number of clicks and have to apologize as I cannot get the count from the camera today. I took off from work yesterday to get over a cold (that is why I was saying Wed I could get it) but decided to take today to be sure. I will post the clicks tomorrow morn early. Will post a shot of the actual info on the camera if I can do that, so you can see it.

k, got the shutter count this morn. There isnt a way to view it on the camera it turns out so through searching in this forum I found this EXIFTool app that shows all the EXIF data and it has the shutter count. So I opened the camera box, put in the bats, took a photo and ran the tool. The count shows as

Shutter Count : 5094

and the complete file is attached if interested
