[SOLD] Pentax DA 10-17 Fisheye

For Sale: Pentax DA 10-17 Fisheye - $365 US dollars - Excellent condition. One small area where the metal lens cap edge has the paint worn but the lens itself is excellent. Comes with both caps and original box. I think its still under warranty since I bought it last June/July for my European trip.

If the lens is not how I described it, you can return the lens by contacting me within 3 days of receipt for a full refund minus shipping.

You can see photos I've taken with this lens here: DA 10-17 Fisheye Photo Gallery by alinla at pbase.com

Paypal payment only. Price + shipping charges once I determine where you live.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,

Are you still selling your DA 10-17mm? I'm very interested in it...
Can you please confirm that there are no scratches/marks on the glass itself?
Would you ship it to Switzerland and how much would the shipping cost (it doesn't have to be a 3-5 days express delivery, 1-2 weeks is not a problem)?

A last thing about the price: would you lower it a bit, bcs new it costs $399 after rebate (Pentax SMCP-DA 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Autofocus Lens).

I can pay with Paypal (verified account).

Greetings.

Scott,

Its a great little lens. I just find I don't use it that much.

I'm not the lens collector type. I have what I use, and if I don't use something much I sell it to someone who can.

al

You're very welcome.

It's not so much "better" as just different. I tend to use the 10-20 more around town. However the 10-17 was perfect for me in Europe so they both have they uses.

Congrats on the purchase of the 10-20. I'm sure you'll love that lens. I found that having a 2 stop ND grad filter has helped me use & get better photos with that lens. I'm sure a polarizer would be equally as helpful.

They are for sure two different lenses, and your comparison gallery helps very much in showng that. I have the 10-17FE and I thoroughly enjoy it. I bought it because I wanted a fish-eye, not because I wanted a super wide angle, they are not the same thing. Just a word to the wise, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING. They can be made to be with some defishing and all that, but not all the time.
