[SOLD] Vivitar 55mm f/2.8 macro 1:1 Komine PK

Here we have a lovely Komine-made Vivitar macro lens, in excellent condition, for a mere $99 plus shipping.

Solid old-school construction with all metal and glass, smooth manual focusing, and only a few minor cosmetic imperfections. Snappy, crisp aperture function, clear glass with no scratches fungus or haze, and brilliant optical quality. Relatively compact and much lighter than the FA 50mm macro, faster than the M 50 macro. What more could one want?

I am only selling this because I got a great price on an FA macro 50mm, and can't quite justify having both. I am still tempted, as this is such a nice lens. BUT, my wife is on me to reduce photo clutter. So maybe you can give it a good home.

Shipping only $5.95 in CONUS, will ship world-wide but it will cost more, please ask. If you find the lens in any way other than as described I am happy to refund your purchase price. Thanks for looking!

ETA: Here's a thread on the lens, to which I contributed some sample shots, as did others.

A name like that and pictures like that - both sharpness and bokeh. I bet this doesn't last long.

That would be a tough decision. However, I'd give the 1:1 the advantage even though I like Pentax glass. This is a tough 50mm k-mount macro to beat. If someone doesn't step up soon I may loose the battle with the twitches.
