This is the "Macro" version which is highly rated and reviewed.
I've owned this for a little more than a year. Purchased May of 2008 from Amazon.
It is still under warranty, as these Sigma lenses have a 4 year warranty.
Nothing wrong with it, I just bought a DA16-50 from another forum member, so I need to sell it to fund my next lens =)
