@k100d: I believe that would be the Contax Zeiss Jahre 85/1.2 50 or 60 years Anniversary. These are going for around 3k-5k. However, I've not had the chance to get one, so I can't say for sure. And from what I know, the Canon 85/1.2 II is not very sharp at wide open. On the other hand, the STF is so sharp at wide open, yet the bokeh is just unbeatable. This lens is the reason why I consider Sony system in the first place. Unfortunately, it's slow and MF only, so sometimes I wish I have the Zeiss 135mm as a backup.
By the way, I just find out about Leitax conversion, which allows Pentax user to use Leica R and Contax Zeiss lenses. The nice part is that it's a reversible process.
The Pentax A*85/1.4 beats the Canon 85/1.2 on most points according to this test:
Canon 85mm f1.2 L (Mark II) vs. Pentax SMC-A* 85mm f1.4
The A*85 is usually considered sharper than the FA*85 and to my experience, the Pentax A*135/1.8 is sharper than the A*85.
So I think you seriously should include the A*85 and A*135 on that list, and you can get them for around 1kEuro and 2kEuro, respectively, so at least the A*85 gives you a sub-2k$.
My wife would not be happy if I bought the FA*200 macro in stead of renovating the bathroom...but perhaps I can sell the car...they supposedly only built 900 copies of that lens...
