This is an older lens, made around the time of the Takumars, and has a similar style including the smooth, wide focusing ring. Without opening it up, it seems to have a more rare, older optical design like the older 35mm Takumar does, considering how long it is. Most 35mm length lenses are shorter, around the dimensions of a 50mm prime or so, unlike this lens. I believe this attributes to the unique and very artistic bokeh that the lens produces, as you can see in the photos.

It's also worth mentioning that this lens focuses *very* closely, I would consider it a macro/close-focus lens by today's standards; probably somewhere around 1:3 - 1:4 macro. You can see how close I was able to get to the leaf.

The lens itself is in very good condition, with normal age and use-related wear in the form of brassing. The glass also has some very minor marks, nothing serious at all, no chips nor cracks nor fungus nor mold, just some hairline scratches. The glass is extremely clear overall. The focusing is great and the aperture blades are dry and snappy.
