...reduced to USD 95 - come on guys - I bought this for over 175around a year ago - used it twice - bought the Pentax 18-250 ...yes, yes, I know all about LBA.....

Tempting... I've had my eye on the 18-250 zoom for awhile, though. Sure you wouldn't rather sell your 18-250? :-)

Since I shoot at a lot of social gatherings (family/friends) I prefer the 18mm end of the lens. For a while I had the kit lens - but was a hassle swapping it with this one every now-and-then and hence I bought the 18-250. I also have the 28-300 which I bought soon after the 28-200 (yes, yes, LBA).
