whats the max height on it I am 6'5 and wondering if this might work for me without having to bend over toooo much?

It's 60" fully extended. Plus add a few inches for the head. I'm 5'8" and with the monopod fully extended, my viewfinder is a good 5" above my eye (I have a grip on my camera so that adds to the height).
