For Sale is a Pentax A 50mm f1.4 Lens.

This lens is in almost perfect shape. No visible wear. Almost no dust. Multicoating is perfect. Glass is perfectly clear with no yellowing or fungus or hazing. Focus is velvety smooth. Aperature clicks solidly and blades are snappy and oil free. Since it is an "A" lens, the aperature is automatic and can be controlled on the body. It works well with flash. Because the focus ring is so nice on the A models, I've been able to focus this one with uncommon precision. I've sold a lot of 50mm lenses and this is probably the nicest 50mm I've used (this includes the 50mm f1.2 version.) Used with a hood and properly focused, it is as sharp as the 50mm f1.7 (which many believe to be the sharpest 50mm wide open). If you've ever wanted to try your hand at manual focus, I don't think you will be disappointed with this lens. Unlike the A f1.7, the focus ring is metal and it just feels more quality and it is almost as bright as a f1.2 which is 5 times more expensive. Lens comes with original Pentax front cap only. Asking $130+shipping.
