1. Tokina AT-X 80-200mm f/2.8 SD with 'A' ($225 + shipping) [SOLD]

In excellent condition, only noted lens hood and lens barrel with minor cosmetic marks
Comes with original caps, lens hood and tripod mount
manual focus with 'A' aperture
Lens is all clean and tested

2. Tamron SP 70-210mm f/3.5 adaptall-2 (19AH) ($120 + shipping) [Withdrawn]

In excellent condition, close to mint
No scratch, marks and haze, glass clean
Comes with caps, front cap not original and rear cap is original
Comes with original lens hood 49FH -- very difficult to find, I bought my 2nd copy to find its lens hood
adaptall-2 adapter not included, you need adapter
I will add in a compatible lens case in leather
I have two copies and sold one before and this one is in better cosmetic and clean glass condition.

I know I'm not supposed to buy lens right now with my money issue but the Promaster Spectrum7 is calling my name. I don't shoot much in that range but I want to add a manual lens of this range in my bag to learn a few things about photography. So PM is sent for that.

Hmm Hin you said that the 80-200 isn't that sharp at 2.8 but that one photo you posted seem mighty sharp for me at web resolutions.... I'm a bit tempted. When I have the money I'll take it

The lens is pretty good for the price. I find it soft at wide open aperture especially in the long end in 200mm initially. It is a heavy lens and softness can come from user errors in hand-holding. Once I use a tripod and consciously stop down when I can, the lens perform better than expected. At f/2.8, I still consider it soft but quite usable when I try it in indoor dim light on circus and baseball

Here is a picture of Kate Earl performing live music, I had both the DA* 50-135mm and the Tokina AT-X 80-200mm and I opted for the later due to longer reach for the musician
