Price reduced.

This could also work well for Brian Youngman, Youngerston, Youngermoto, etc. Your engraving would be more than half done.

Or perhaps more likely.. Phototechnica | Fine Art Printing
However, I'm not out to hijack listings. I do own the Ver.1 of this lens (the version offered here is the Version 3, and is regarded as the best of the 70-210mm Series 1's). For a manual lens, it is a joy to work with. I also owned a Tamron SP 70-210mm (Model 19AH) which, technically, is supposed to be sharper than the Series 1. I found the Vivitar produces better colour and much nicer bokeh. I plan to hang onto it. The Tammy's gone.

Thats funny, I should have done a google search and some direct marketing. I guess that is why I never became a salesman.

I got the lens in a yard sale with some other stuff I needed (wanted) here in Oregon so it would have been quite a trip.

Well, lets try $100.

There is nothing bad about the lens except for the cosmetics. Glass is really good and the function, except for locking in the "A" position, is 100%.

Any takers?

Going down to $95.

With the USD exchange rate, that isn't much more than two or three packs of cigarettes to the rest of the world.

Well, I always say something is only worth what someone will pay you for it......

How about $90?

If the Brian Young thing is what is keeping it from selling I can spread some bondo over it. You will hardly be able to tell.....

Just curious, what does it mean it doesnt lock in the A position? does it mean the A position still works, but it just shifts by itself during shots, or does it mean its completely busted, and aperture is done manually?

The lens has all functionality, including the "A" position.

The only flaw is that on an "A" lens when you want to move the ring off of "A" you usually have to push a button on the aperture ring and this one will move without having to push the button.

It stays in place fine, it just will move from "A" without having to push the button. Really not a big deal but I just threw it in to be complete.

With the A function, this is a good deal. If I don't have one I will go for this. This is absolutely nice lens.
