Asking Price USD $100 Item Description For sale here is an Asahi Pentax SMC-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 m42 lens that looks, surprisingly, almost unused. There are no visible marks anywhere on the front glass, only a microscopic trail of coating loss on the rear (I think this happens in the factory? I've never seen one of these lenses without this "problem"), no yellowing, and almost no brassing or other signs of use on the body other than tiny, tiny nicks on the filter ring (absolutely no affect on screwing filters in). There are also some stray specs of dust here and there, but I don't see any that are internal. I would conservatively say it's 90% of new/boxed condition. It comes with a Honeywell Pentax cover that is in about B condition with some minor scratches, and just a generic rear M42 cap, as well as a Tiffen CPL filter. The aperture blades are clean and work perfectly, and there is certainly no fungus or anything else internal. Focus is BLOODY smooth, as smooth and well-damped as any other lens I've ever used. This lens is a definite collector's item in my opinion, I just wish I had an original box or something to go with it. Here are pictures:    Thanks! Are you the original owner of the item being sold?
