Vivitar Series 1 28-105mm f/2.8-3.8 K-mount

Item Description
This is an old manual lens--but looks almost new. It's in superb cosmetic and optical condition. No mark, scratch or sign of wear on the body or glass, no oil on blades. (Can't even notice any bit of internal dust.) Perfect focus and functioning; takes sharp pictures. Comes with original box, manual, and leather case.

It has the "A" sign on it, which means that the camera can receive the aperture info electronically through the lens. Sturdy, metal body, built like a tank. Has a (semi)macro-function.

There are three versions of this lens; the one I have for sale appears to be the sharpest one (67mm diameter, with a rubberized grip)--for more details, look here. (Some reviewers indicate which version is the better one.)

I'm selling it to fund a Tamron 17-50mm.

Last time one of these lenses was up for sale here, I chimed in, so I figure I must do it again. I used this lens before and it performs really really well. It's a newer Series 1 lens, and a lot of them are poor quality. But this lens, for the focal range and aperture range, is really a strong performer. Best of luck with the sale!

Unfortunately, for me, the DA 18-250mm covers the Viv's focal range--I was keeping it for the interesting color rendering (and when I start thinking of some pics I took with it, I wonder whether I should sell it), but with the Tammy 17-50mm on the way, I have to have some justification before my wife
