[SOLD] Legendary SMC Takumar 135mm 1:2.5 (58mm filter thread diameter)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Legendary SMC Takumar 135mm 1:2.5 (58mm filter thread diameter)

Pentax part number 43802 (on the back side of the A/M switch)

Asking Price
$180 USD

Item Description
Includes case, front and rear cap, lens hood, all originally supplied from Pentax. Also included is a UV filter that has been on the lens since day 1 (according to the original owner whom I purchased the lens from).

I myself used it only for test shots. It's never left my house or my office. I just have too many 135mm lenses.

Case has some external scuffs. Lens is like new condition with minimal paint wear. Clear glass, no fungus, no internal dust. Snappy operation, no oil on blades.

I don't know much about these Taks, but I've been eyeing a fast manual 135mm.

Is it a bayonet mount or screwmount? And what's the auto/manual thing about?

Screw mount, you would need an adapter to use it on a K mount camera. There are 2 versions of this, and the # on the auto-manual swicth differentiates them. If you can live with the practicalities of teh adapter and all-manual function, I am not sure you can get a better fast 135mm.
