Item Description
Lightweight 300mm that delivers outstanding IQ. Optically the same as the FA*300/4.5 but the F* version comes with a tripod mount. This example is optically and mechanically sound -- glass is excellent; fungus free, aperture is snappy and oil free. Cosmetically, there are a number of marks in the white paint but there are no dents and no signs of being dropped. Filter threads are fine. Comes with front and rear caps, tripod mount and the built in hood.

Just wondering why you would want this over the DA* 300? Are you not happy with the DA*?

I am sorry I don't mean it that way. I am very happy with it, as I am sure I would be very happy with a F*300 as well. Mostly it is just that this would have cost less. I have never spent as much on a lens before so I am still in sticker shock in a way.
