I am putting this beauty up for sale again. The lens has the same optics as the legendary Vivitat Series 1 105mm 2.8 or the Kiron 105mm 2.8 or the Lester Dine 105mm 2.8 lenses. It has the PKA mount.

The lens is in very good shape, absolutely no oil on the blades. The front element is very good, minor specs of dust for a lens this old, but it does not affect the picture. It comes with both covers (no the original ones unfortunately).

I got this for few years and it performed very well. The lens lived up to my expectations and it is the best Macro lens by far.

I am selling all my manual lenses. My eyes are not what it used to be and my high level of astigmatism is making me work twice as hard and this hobby is not fun anymore if it puts strain to my eyes.

Lens made by Keno Precision Optics of Japan also known as Kiron. Serial Number is 22710XXX (New serial #).

If you are looking at this add, you know what kind of lens is it and what reputation it carries.

AS stated above, I am lead to believe that it's optically identical to the (I'm told) legendary Kiron/Lester-Dine 105mm F2.8 or Vivitar Series 1 105mm 2.8 without the fancy lettering of the Vivitar's Series 1.

I am willing to trade it for a K10D + Cash from my part. Or for a K20D + Cash from my part.
I also have a Brand New Pentax D FA 50mm 2.8 Macro that I can add to the K20D to sweeten the deal (two legendary Macros for a K20D).

Sure, it is a manual focus PKA mount. It has the A pin for auto-aperture. It is not autofocus. The Lester Dine and the Vivitar Series 1 are also PKA mount and not autofocus. Let me know if you have any other questions.
