In other words, it can work as a 3X tele-converter or a macro converter. It works best with large aperture prime lenses. It will work with Pentax K-mount cameras and lenses. (Not PKA) While I am not the original owner, I have this little gem for more than 10 years. It seems work better as a macro converter than a tele converter. The converter is extremely well made. I do not say this lightly. Every part works with a high degree of precision on par with K series lenses. The glass is clean and fungus free. The adapter is in like new / excellent plus condition. I would consider trading a Pentax fixed focal lens. K version is preferred. I have heard that Kiron (Kino precision) has made most of the Panagor lenses. It was marketed as Vivitar Tele-Macronet in the U.S. The Outfit Includes: ~ a Panagor Tele-Macronet 3x Pat.
