Item Description
Offered for sale is a chrome Pentax MX in good working and cosmetic condition. There is no battery installed and I haven't run a roll of film through it, so I can't say for sure that it's metering properly. However, eyeballing the shutter I can see appropriate differences at different shutter speed settings. The viewfinder is not scratched, but does have a couple specks of dust. The camera does need new light seals and a new mirror bumper, and is missing the winder attachment cover. These can be obtained cheaply on eBay, or you can send it in for a CLA from Mr. Eric Hendrickson (recommended).

Personally, I wish the MX had a faster flash-sync speed. I find that 1/60th is just slow enough to capture motion blur (though that's not necessarily a bad thing).

I've never used a flash on mine, so I don't really miss it.

Oh my god, yes. I wouldn't be selling this one if I didn't have a black one in perfect condition. It's just a joy to use.

Yeah, the flash used for these product shots really does highlight the imperfections in a way that isn't as noticeable under normal light.
