I know... I know... not a Pentax. Sorry. I know there are fans here though so i thought I'd give them a crack before lining eBay's coffers.

This is a very clean Nikkormat FT2 with Nikkor 50mm f/2. No dings or dents, very few if any cosmetic defects and no mechanical defects.

The Nikkormat FT2 was manufactured from 1975 to 1977. The light meter battery is a non-toxic 1.5 V S76 or SR44 silver cell.

The FT2's viewfinder is a Nippon Kogaku standard Type K focusing screen with a 12 mm etched circle indicating the area of the meter centerweighting, a 3 mm split image rangefinder ("split screen") and 1 mm microprism collar focusing aid. It is one of the finest split screen focusing aids I have used.

Mechanically the camera is very clean as the prior owner CLA'd it before sale to me. it is in perfect operating condition. I used this a bit this summer and it performed beautifully.

The meter is spot on and agrees with my Nikon F Photomic and several other known good bodies. I used it as a platform to shoot my father's old Non-AI Nikkors.

The lens like the body shows little evidence of use. Cosmetically it is very clean. There is virtually no paint loss or even fading. Mechanically, the aperture is dry and the auto mechanism operates flawlessly; the focus is smooth and perfectly damped, and there is no trace of haze, fungus or other nastiness.

I hate to see it go. 125.00 plus 12.50 shipping in CONUS. This is a very good price for this camera in this condition.
