[SOLD] Sigma 14mm f 2.8 asph / Rare UWA

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Sigma 14mm f 2.8 asph / Rare UWA

Asking Price
350 EUR

Shipping Destinations

Item Description
Hello,

I am selling a rare, very fast Ultra-Wide-Angel for PENTAX:

It is a Sigma 14mm f.2.8 asph.

This is by far the larges WA Lens I could find. It is soft at 2.8, but stepped down to 4.0 ist is sharp from corner to corner.

Unfortunatelly I use ot much to seldom,so I decided to offer it to a better home.

The cheapest price for a used copy I could find in Germay was at almost 600 , so I think this price is fair.
I would like to sell it in the EU, but if package and postage is refunded, I will send it worldwide.

The lens is being sold wirh the hoods and the pouch. There is no longer a bill.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if there are any questions, but please give me 24h for reply, as I am not online the whole day .

Best regards from Germany

Georg

Hello giorgio,

{funny, it is my name in Italian )

YOu are right; information on this lens is very rare too. I only found an exhausting review of the Canon version, which is very impressive though.

Pls look here: Twinkles: Sigma 14/2.8 EX

Best regards

Hi, could you please post some pics taken with this lens? The reviews you mention in your ad say that there are bad copies of this lens, how does your copy do on sharpness and flare? Thanks!

Saludos to Espana....

A lens that wide is really difficult. Yes there are flare, but not more than with any other lens that wide ( I tested a few ,-) )

I do not have a bad copy, but even wirh my K-7 a little AF Correction (+4) was necessary to get real good results even wide open. It is a top perforemer from f4 on...

But here are some pictures...

Best regards...

Georg

Buon giorno to Svizzera/Italia,
hello bollicina.

The lens is still available!

If I understand you right, the answer should be: Yes, as the lens is a DG lens it works for FullFrame (36*24 mm).

It is not light weighted, really compact and sturdy. But the results are very pleasing.

Best regards

Georg
