Hello - I have a set of 12 POWEREX NIMH Rechargeable AA's that have been sitting mostly unused. All charge well and hold a good charge (no scientific testing). They are 2700mAH, 1.2V. Made in Japan. Come with a MAHA/POWEREX 1 Hour charger. 8 of these new are about $25, so look at it as getting 4 AA's, charger, and shipping for free.

I can attest to the very high quality of all Maha products. I have a set of these batteries that are about 4 years old, and they're the only ones of my NiMHs bought around that time that still hold a decent charge -- my Ansmann, Duracell, and others don't really. And forget about when they're new!
