Rare Pentax 85mm f:1.8 Super-Multi-Coated Takumar M42 screwmount lens..... only manufactured 1972-1974..... excellent condition optically, mechanically, & cosmetically (except for some paint loss on some high points, the auto/manual switch in particular). Front & rear caps included (front cap is not original). Legendary IQ..... received a perfect 10 rating from every reviewer in our lens review database except one (he gave it a 9, deducting a point because he didn't like the fact that it is a screwmount!)..... $350 + $10 Shipping.

Hadn't really thought about it until you mentioned it, but it probably has something to do with the fact that they're coming out of the subconscious optical catalog perusing experiences of an old photographer.

Taken RAW with a 2004 Canon S70, 28mm macro setting at 400ASA. Apparent film grain is just the typical Brooklyn atmospheric state of being!
