Item Description
Pentax K100d (Non Super) - $185- SOLD!

This camera was my primary body until I bought the K200 8 months later. I had the body sent to Pentax Service early this year for a cleaning and recalibration of the autoexposure circuitry so the camera is factory spec. There is hardly any wear on the body and everything works like it was right out of the box. I've had another lens fit on it since I lost the body cap but as soon as it is sold it will be wrapped in bubble wrap immediately.

A 50mm 2.0 - $60
The "oldie but goodie" that came with my K1000. The lens gives sharp images but my g/f surprised me with the FA50 for my birthday.
The aperture ring is a little tight but does move. A little oil should do the trick but I'll leave that to someone with better hands. Comes with gray leather pouch, lenscap and bodycap.

FA-J 28-80 3.5-4.5 - $25 - SOLD!
A walk-around lens typically. Use it when you go somewhere that's real busy or dangerous! Comes with Tiffen UV filter and original lenscap. The body is in great condition since it was hardly used. The focussing ring gives a fair amount if you use it for MF.

Sigma 71-210mm UC - $60 - SOLD!
Replaced by my DA 50-200. Body is in excellent condition. The focusing mechanism turns smoothly and there's very little if any signs of wear. I've had this lens since 1994. There is "zoom creep" since this is a trombone zoom. Comes with lens hood, lens cap and body cap.

Hello,
Any idea of number of shutter actuations?
Also could you post some pics taken wide open with the 70-210mm? How does IQ compare to the DA 50-200mm?
Thanks!

This was my only camera for 8 months and I used it moderately so I can safely say it has had 3,000 shutter actuations at the most.

It compares well to the DA 50-200. Actually, what this lens has over the DA is that it can stay a constant F4 throughout the focal range and the DA is 4-5.6.
I posted test shots of it wide open at 70mm and 210mm. Its minimum focusing distance is 1.5 feet.

Note: these shots were in JPG and no added sharpness in postproduction.

Thanks for the pics!
By the way I checked the lens database and couldn't find a constant f4 70-210mm Sigma lens - they were all f4-f5.6.
Could you post a pic of the lens where the aperture data shows? I'd like to find some reviews of the lens before deciding.

When I took the staircase picture I noticed that the LCD remained F4 thru the range. I didnt stop to think that the camera will have no idea what the aperture is since the zoom is manual and the lens sends no info to he camera.

I looked this morning and the lens front does say 4-5.6. I apologize for that. The lens you looked over in the database is this lens.
