Item Description
I currently have two AF-540 flashes and seldom use both so I am selling one of them. The flash I am selling is in excellent condition (looks new) except for one issue; the wide-angle diffuser and bounce card that slide in and out of the flash head are missing. Well, they're not actually missing (I still have them) but the tiny plastic pin that goes into the sliding mechanism broke. Obviously if that is a feautre that's really important to you, this is not the flash for you. If, however, you generally use an external diffuser (Sto-Fen or similar), or just tend not to use the built in bounce card/diffuser, then here's a chance to get a 540 in really great condition (otherwise) for a pretty good price of $260 + shipping.

I will post some pictures a little later as my only battery for my K7 died a few minutes ago testing out a new lens

Please PM me any questions.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I do not have the original box nor the flash stand. The flash does, however, come with the original case.

Just want to say that the problem with the wide-angle diffuser/bounce card is not uncommon. More importantly, it is pretty simple to fix if you are handy: Linky.

Thanks, I may give that a shot at some point if the flash doesn't sell. Even though I don't think I've ever actually used the WA diffuser (on this one before it broke or on my other 540) since I am almost always bouncing the flash, it might be a fun to fix it anyway. I also didn't know you could buy the replacement part (just in case I mess up trying to drill the hole).

Thanks again foir the link.

It doesn't. But a hotshoe-pc adapter is relatively inexpensive.
