[SOLD] Sigma 24mm f2.8 AF, Pentax 200mm f2.5, K-7 DBG4 Grip

Well, my "splurge and purge" is coming to an end. I bought a bunch of lenses and accessories to see what I would settle down with for my main shooting kit, built around the K-7. I made the mistake of buying two limited primes, the 43 and 70, and I have my eyes on the 21 or 15, so these need to go. They are each excellent in their own right, I'm just working on the perfect kit for my kind of photography (documentary photography or restaurants).

Sigma 24mm f2.8 Super Wide II AF lens
SOLD
A bit of a rarity, and just purchased from a want-ad I placed here. Optics and function are perfect, cosmetics are decent, a little wear on the barrel but no big deal. Comes with both caps and hood. I like this lens, it's as sharp wide open as the excellent 24-60mm f2.8 sigma zoom. Compare to the prices on the FA version of this lens, and well, this is a steal. $205 shipped in the US. $215 shipped overseas by First Class Mail (not trackable).

Pentax 200mm f2.5 SMC manual focus lensPENDING
This lens is truly awesome, just too tight for my purposes. I also got this with a little astrophotography in mind, but that's not a bread-winner so this has to go. Optical and functional condition is excellent. Cosmetics is very good, a few scuffs mostly on the retractable metal lens hood. Both caps. Read the reviews on this thing...it is that sharp. $350 shipped in the US, $375 shipped overseas by Priority Mail (it's heavy so gets bumped up to priority mail).

Pentax DBG4 Battery Grip SOLD
This is like new in box. I took five photos with it mounted! I decided the weight was not worth the added functionality, and also decided that almost nothing is going to make me into a vertical-format photographer. This is very well designed, however, and gives you the very valuable ability to shoot with double-A batteries in a pinch. And...a secret SD card storage slot! I like this, I just won't use it.

I will combine shipping. Ask me. Paypal preferred. Domestic sales get a three day inspection period. Foreign sales as is due to cost of post.

I will post an image of the grip tomorrow (it's at home) but as I said, it's as new in box.

I will not accept drool in trade. I have enough of it when I look at ads for the DA 21.

Oh, I would accept a DA21 or DA15 in trade, I s'pose, with some cash going either way depending on the deal.

Any way you can post some photos taken with the 24mm?

Thanks!

Let me ponder a trade of the DA21 for the K200... I'll get back to you.

Here's a few images taken with the 24, all of them wide open.

I do have to disclose that the lens usually needs about a half-stop EV correction on the K-7...it has a tendency to overexpose by a half-stop. It could be that it needs the hood, which I never use. I didn't notice flare, really. But anyway, it's consistent and easy to correct for, and I'm always adjusting the exposure comp anyway. Manual focus lenses often do this on digital bodies, which suggests to me that later lenses had to incorporate optical changes in lenses to adjust to new metering systems.

Here's a pic from the 200.

BTW, either the jpeg setting I am using in Lightroom (or maybe the forum is downsizing) doesn't do these images justice. They are sharp...and the artifacts you see are not there!

Kai,
Someone offered a trade to me earlier today (not deadwolfbones) and they were not lenses I was interested in...but they did say they would buy the 200 if I didn't accept the trade. I sent them my paypal info...so at this point it's a "show me the money" situation. If the lens doesn't sell (or receive a firm trade offer from deadwolfbones or others) by the 15th, then it's yours. It's sometimes difficult to figure out fair and equal ways of dealing with sales without pages of rules and provisos, but I do the best I can to be consistent and this seems fair to everyone. Or equally unfair to everyone!
cheers

UPDATE: Lots of interest in the 200 but no money or firm trade offer yet!
Looks like a sale pending on the grip to Jim.

Sale pending on the 24 Sigma. I'm going to try to sneak myself in along with lens to Spain.

Is it means, if I could pay it now, I could get the 200mm lens?

If yes, just I could make this deal.
