I can vouch for this lens to be at the top of the 70-200 f/2.8 ladder in terms of IQ.
It's a brilliant fast telephoto zoom. Free bump.

Price reduced to AUD$835. I'll leave it up here for a few more days at this price, then pop it on to ebay.

Might I suffest waiting a couple more weeks so folk can get a few pay packs in after theirreturns from Xmas breaks?
I know I'm very tempted to buy but need to retop up my bank account as I assume other Aussies do.

Ok, I'll take that tip and delay ebay! It's always better selling to a fellow forum member, even if it means getting a bit less for it and waiting a bit longer.
Cheers

I can not tell you how much I wish I could buy this lens from you right now. My lovely wife, however, would not be so happy with me if I did.

Now just because I'm a glutton for punishment... would you ship it to the USA if I could convince her that we simply must have it? :P

Shipping to the USA would make its cost on par with what you'd be able to buy it for brand new, so it really wouldn't be worth it (insured shipping costs from AUS to USA are alot).
Thanks and good luck!

This lens is now on ebay, along with a few other items I am clearing out. I'd prefer to sell it on here, so PM me before the auction ends if you are interested.

Thanks.

Now includes top-of-the-line HOYA SUPER HMC PRO1 UV(0) filter (77mm) for FREE - this filter sells for $70+ on ebay and $100+ in stores.

It is genuine, and is the super slim version - 1mm glass and 3mm ring.

PM replied.

The auction received no bids despite a huge number of "watchers", so it will be relisted for another 10 days.
Please PM me if you are interested.
