Item Description
I'm selling off my walkabout wildlife zoom. I have been very happy with the results but would just simply prefer a prime.

Some say each Sigma lens is variable, if so this is a great example of the APO DG version of the l'il Bigma (see sample photos below), and remains in very good to excellent condition. Lens is clear and focusing is on target. The only reason not 'excellent to as new' is that the lens has been used and so the velvety Sigma EX-like exterior does not look like it just jumped out of the box, oh yeah and I don't have the original box.

The lens comes with its original soft case, tripod collar, lens hood, instruction leaflet, 77mm UV filter and caps for front and behind.

Ideal for someone looking for a budget super telephoto lens that is good to go!

I can supply photos of subjects and more of the lens on request.

Of course any questions...I'm just a PM away.

Sample photos

I thought it best to show the lens at its reported worst....according to the reviews. They say soft wide-open. Well here's two photos at either extreme. Both are shot at ISO 640, fully open with no post-processing.

1. Horse - 135mm, f4.5, ISO640
2. Gang-gang (bird) - 400mm, f5.6, ISO640

That would actually be a picture of the filter and rear element. You should probably remove the filter to take a clear picture of it.

That'll teach me to churn out a couple of photos off the cuff at midnight now won't it!

Cheers Wally!

Although its a lovely little filter, the offending photo has now been removed and replaced with something of the front element.....as promised! Let's just see whether a photo churned out at 5am is any better.

Meanwhile, for any other Aussies lurking here Happy Australia Day Now get away from the computer and out in amongst it...preferably with a camera and document the action...maybe with a long zoom

Nice lens

Just a bump for a decent lens. I recently purchased on on the Marketplace and have been very pleased with it.
