[SOLD] [Worldwide] Promaster 100mm F3.5 Macro with 1:1 Macro Adaptor

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Promaster 100mm F3.5 Macro with 1:1 Macro Adaptor

Asking Price

Item Location

Item Description
For sale is an almost brand new Promaster 100mm/3.5 Macro lens with the matched 1:1 adaptor. This is a very lightweight MF 100mm macro lens. I believe this is the same lens (rebranded?) as the Cosina 100/3.5 macro (someone please correct me if I am wrong):

PentaxForums.com Third-Party Pentax Lens Review Database - 100mm F1:3,5 MC Makro

I only used it a couple of times and just don't need it since picking up another Tamron 90/2.8 macro. It comes in the original box, w/ the orignal caps and 1:1 adaptor (w/ case). Please PM me with any questions.

This should go fast and make somebody very happy. I have the same lens but with the Phoenix name. It produces such fine shots at full magnification I no longer am interested in getting the Pentax 100mm macro WR.

You were right, this will likely go quickly as I've already replied to a couple PMs

Also, for what it's worth, the 1:1 adaptor works pretty well on other 49mm threaded lenses like a 50/1.4 or the 77/1.8. Doesn't give you full 1:1, but it does allow you to get in closer with really decent IQ.

All PMs answered. I waiting on payment from the first person who PM'd me and have a couple more interested buyers behind him. Anyone else who is interested is free to PM me as well, but just to let you know the lens is most likely sold.

Yep. Who ever gets it may find the adaptor makes a sweet addition to your fast 50. My A50mm 1.4 gets along very well with the adaptor.

Yeah, I actually tried it with the FA77/1.8 and all my A50s; 2.0, 1.7, 1.4 and even the 2.8 macro just for kicks. But I ending up selling all four A50s I had to in order to buy the 5th A50, the A50/1.2. Not sure if it would work on that lens as well as it has 52mm threads and I don't have a step down ring to try it out. Then again, I'm sure I'll find other things to do with the A50/1.2 besides macro work
