This is a very sharp lens, has the A setting (can be used in P, AV, and TV modes) For Pentax K/A Mount, will work with all Pentax K mount cameras including the *ist and K series digitals with no limitations except you have to manually focus it. It is a manual focus lens. I have used this on my K10D with great results. This lens will act as a 105 f2.8~315 f4.0 on a digital Pentax with the 1.5 crop factor
The glass is perfect, clean and free from scratches, haze, or fungus. Exterior is good. The only thing that does not work is the button to lock it in the A setting, however, the detents are solid, it will stay there unless you move it, this has never been a concern for me, lens work great. Pictures are a hat on the wall @70mm 2.8 and a small cactus in the macro mode.
