For Sale is a SMC Pentax A 50mm f1.2 Prime Lens.

This is the fastest lens in the Pentax Lineup. The lens everyone lusts for. At f1.2, this thing is an absolute light scoop. This lens is in Excellent Condition. Glass is perfect. Multicoating is perfect. No fungus, yellowing, haze or any problems. Very little dust. The all metal body is in very good shape with just a hint of wear, it even has its original Japan inspection sticker. The only flaw is a small nick on the filter ring (visible on the pictures underneath the "smc"). It is not a dent and does not affect filter mounting at all. The nine aperature blades are well rounded, snappy and oil free. Focus ring is silky smooth and aperture ring clicks solidly. The whole lens just screams quality. This lens is the "A" model (vs the "K" model), so it supports automatic metering on your camera as well as aperature control through the body. No need for the "green" button. This is a manual focus lens. This is the "Made in Japan" version. Original (but worn) front cap and generic rear caps are included. Reduced asking $490

Well, they've been manufacturing them since 1984 and I understand they still make a few today in Vietnam. All I can say is this one is made in Japan so between 1984-2008?
