Super-Takumar 50mm f 1:1.4 mm lens with M42 screw mount.

The lens is in average shape with the characteristic yellowing associated with these lenses. The barrel is in good shape and I can see no oil on the blades. The glass does not have any apparent haze, dust or fungus. There is something like a dried water mark (not a scratch) on the front lens. (Please see the picture). To my eye this has not impacted image quality. With that said the lens is being sold as is….

With the lens is a new M42 to Pentax K mount adaptor, of unknown quality. I’m selling this lens because I have recently acquired a Pentax-A 50 mm lens.

Do you need to do any kind of special post processing to compensate for the yellowing of the lens?

Whoever buys this lens can simply leave it in the sun for a week or two. The yellowing will vanish and you'll have a crystal clear lens.
