Its perhaps the rarest of the voigtlander SL series of lenses, even more so than the elusive voigtlander 125mm. Optically excellent, superb bokeh, with the distinctive rendering of voigtlander lenses that set it apart from the Pentax FA limited series. Some have commented that this lens is a tad sharper than the FA 77. I have both, and one thing I can definitely attest to is the handling and manual focusing for this lens - its much better than the FA 77. For those who are interested in manual focus lenses anyway. But I do not really need 2 lenses so similar in focal length, and proceeds will contribute to future lenses. However, i suspect I will be quite happy to keep this lens if no one takes it. Finally, description of the item - excellent conditions, only very light marks of use. Comes with 2 front caps (the original voigtlander metal screw cap and a practical plastic clip on), rear cap. You're right about this being rare--there was a post on the serial numbers earlier this year: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/90242-voigtl%E...n-volumes.html Although he has some data together for most of the Cosina built Voigtlanders, the poster couldn't even determine the volume of 75mm lenses made because he didn't have enough serial numbers. Maybe drop him a line too, to help with his project  | |
