Item Description
For sale is an Asahi Pentax Right Angle Finder. This finder rotates 360 degrees to allow you to shoot from any orientation. The rotation has click-stops at every 90 degree turn. This finder will mount on some older Pentax SLRs (works on both my Yashica TL Electro X and the Spotmatic I'm selling here in the marketplace, but not on my Super Program or MX) but would require modification (if such a thing is possible) to work on a dSLR.

The glass is pretty clean, with a few cleaning marks, but looks crystal clear when looking through it. The body of the finder is in excellent shape, and the case is worn but perfectly serviceable.

Included: Finder, case.

FYI - I sold one of these last summer and the buyer said that with a little modification the attachment bracket it will fit his Pentax DSLR (he had a *ist and a K20d). I kicked myself afterward for selling it without trying that mod.

His description of the mod (per Kevindt): "I simply made a thin cut at the top of each side with a very narrow cut-off wheel to allow the sides to be gently sprung out the 0.75 mm each side that the DSLR finder rim is wider than the film bodies"
