You are looking at:
A gently used Tamron Auto-Focus 70-300mm LD (472D model) telephoto zoom lens for Pentax K mount cameras

This lens will fit any Pentax K Mount camera and auto-focus will work on 35mm film SLR and DSLR cameras.

You will receive:
1 x Tamron AF 70-300mm LD f/4.0-5.6 Zoom lens
original front and rear Tamron lens caps
original Tamron lens hood
original Tamron box and instruction manual


I am not a camera equipment expert but I will do my best to describe my observations of this lens. This lens is in Excellent shape both optically and cosmetically. There are a couple small marks on the lens hood and lens caps but that is about all. There are a few specks of dust on the front element that do not affect the image quality at all. There are no scratches, haze, or fungus in the lens. Focus and zoom rings are smooth and do not creep. There is no oil on the aperture and the blades are snappy.

This lens takes very nice pictures. I have attached a couple that I took with this lens while testing it out.




I bought it from another Pentaxforums member a few months ago and it never gets used because I have fallen in love with my old Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm (sometimes with a 1.4x or 2x TC) and I am really enjoying shooting through this zoom range with a manual focus.
The previous owner of this Tamron 70-300mm mentioned that he did not use it much either as he had very nice telephoto prime lenses so this lens has hardly been used and is in great shape. What I have noticed about it is it focuses very quickly and doesn't hunt around continually like my kit lens does. It is also more quiet when it zooms or focuses than many other zooms in this range.

All in all, it is a great lens for taking to the park, the beach, the game, the track, the zoo, or just about anywhere. It is lightweight and covers a long range. I hope someone out there can put it to better use than I have.
