[SOLD] Classics - Tokina 19-35/3.5-4.5, M 50/1.7, Vivitar 28/2.8 PK/A, Sigma 90/2.8 M

I'm rationalising my kit with the idea of getting it down to a 3-4 essential go-to lenses...sort of an AA for LBA I was very selective when hunting down this bunch and have been umming-and-arring about parting with them for some time. So please take advantage while I'm having this moment of weakness. All items have been well cared for and are in the very same, or better, condition than when I fostered them in from around the globe. You will not be disappointed with any of these little beauties.

1. Tokina 19-35mm f3.5-4.5 "Plastic Fantastic". SOLD
I don't need to say much about this lens that many a reviewer hasn't said before.
Condition: Excellent
Comes with: the sought after (and sometime required) factory lens hood, 77mm UV filter, soft pouch, original box and front & rear caps.
Price: AUD125

2. Pentax M 50mm f1.7 Off to the Bay
Every bag should, no "must", have one.
Condition: Good. Glass is clear of any nasties - excepting some dust. All rings move as they should. There are wear marks on the rings, as is evident in the photos.
Comes with: both original lens caps.
Price: AUD70

3. Vivitar 28mm f2.8 PK/A SOLD
I love this lens and am having serious doubts about letting her go. She is super-sharp and gives great colour. There are many articles written on this lens and this is the rare PK/A Close Focus ('A03') version.
Condition: Excellent
Comes with: UV filter, soft pouch and original front & rear caps.
Price: AUD150

4. Sigma 90mm f2.8 MacroOff to the Bay
I bought this lens on a whim and have been blown away with the results. It is well made and yet far lighter than other dedicated macros. This saving is made by being a 1:2 out of the box, but it comes with the original Hoya screw-on 1:1 filter. So once you screw this on, you have a very impressive and portable macro. The 90mm version of this lens is also quite rare and sought after. When you see the results you'll know why.
Condition: Excellent.
Come with: 1:1 Hoya filter, Sigma hard case, front & rear caps. All original.
Price:AUD170 (including FREE registered & insured postage within Australia only)

Prices are all in Australian dollars. Most payment methods are accepted - with the exception of Western Union and bartering in livestock. Please note that Paypal may incur some additional fees but we can negotiate this come sale time.

I am willing to ship worldwide, if you are happy with the postage rate. I will only post registered and insured, so please PM me for a quote specific to the items you are interested in and your location. Just PM me if you want a postage quote, want more photos or have any miscellaneous queries.

Of course, I happy to refund your money in full if any item is not as described. Buyer pays shipping.

Please PM me if you have any questions or would like any further photos of, or taken by, any lens.

One down, Three to go

The Viv 28/2.8 has been SOLD.

---------- Post added 03-08-2010 at 06:00 PM ----------

I have had a few PMs asking for sample images from these lenses.

I will need to load some photos taken with the M50/1.7 and Plastic Fantastic to my Flickr site. Meanwhile, here's a taster from that small space between the world and the sensor - called the Sigma 90mm (first two hand-held, the last two with tripod):

HAND-HELD!!

Tokina test shots

Hi Cupic,

Unfortunately I didn't have any of the photos you wanted on file, so I've just come back from the top paddock with some samples. So please excuse the composition, subject matter, and lack of post processing but I hope these are indicative. Well they are fresh anyway!

1. 20mm @ f8
2. 20mm @ f22
NB: the lens doesn't register 19mm on the K20D???? common to this lens just check the posts.
3. 35mm @ f8
4. 35mm @ f22

Tokina now ON HOLD.

There will be a reduction in price for the remaining two lenses tomorrow for their last couple of days here. So feel free to pre-empt this saving and send through any reasonable offers beforehand...as they are bound for the Bay on Sunday otherwise.

Price Reduction

Price of remaining lenses reduced:

Pentax M50/1.7 - now $70
Sigma 90/2.8 Macro - now $170

These prices are not inclusive of postage (both international and domestic) or Paypal fees (international buyers only).

Both lenses will go to the Bay on Sunday if not sold.

Price for last 12 hours

I'm taking my lenses off to the Bay in 12 hours. So here is the final deal!

The Sigma 90mm f2.8 Macro has been reduced to $170 including registered post with insurance anywhere within Australia. Where else can you find a sweet macro at this price?....well I suppose eBay soon enough!

NB: the price of the M50/1.7 remains the same...as it appears it is worth more to me than you. So she will probably not go onto auction...unless someone offers me something here.

Of course, also happy to negotiate a price for both....
