I owned this lens for a little over 2 years now. I changed systems and it is the last piece of pentax equipment I own. It, like a few other lens, suffered from the SDM failure. I paid 189$ to get it repaired by Pentax and it comes with a 90 day service warranty. SDM failures happen to a few of these lens, horrible. But I have never heard of one happening to a lens twice.

The lens itself cannot be described as mint but is indistinguishable from new. Has no signs of wear, pristine glass, no oil, fungus or haze. Like described. Like new. It comes with no box but has pounch a a little plastic box I use to store it.

This was the sharpest lens I owned and loved it.
