[SOLD] Manfrotto 486RC2 Ball Head (US)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Manfrotto 486RC2 Ball Head

Asking Price
$40 USD

Item Location
Arkansas, USA

Item Description
I recently upgraded to a much more expensive ball head, so no longer need this Manfrotto 486RC2 compact ball head. It includes the original packaging and quick release plate. Operates as new.

This is an excellent compact, yet basic ball head that will hold your camera tightly. It does not have separate friction or panning adjustments found in more expensive ball heads, but if you don't need those features, it's a great deal.

Isn't the big knob/lever on the side for panning? Or do you mean something else when you say "panning adjustments"?

I've got one of these too, I'm just curious if I'm missing something. Also, you may give some potential buyer the mistaken impression that there's no panning at all with this head.

Sorry if I wasn't clear regarding panning. The big (only) knob loosens the ball and lets you adjust in any direction, including panning. Some, more expensive ball heads have a separate panning adjustment that rotates the base without having to loosen the ball. Hope that clears things up.

Oh right, I got it confused with the 488. My mistake, sorry. Anyway, good luck with the sale.
