Pentax K100D + DA 50-200 f/4-5.6 (great sample)

Bought new and used infrequently (non-professional) from 2006-2008. Upgraded to K20D and full line of DA* lenses in 2008 and planning to upgrade to K-7 shortly, so no longer need this K100D for backup.

I took well care of the K100D and never put RCR-V3 batteries in it (like other people, read my blog article here on why you should never do so), only AA NiMH and Energizer e2 Lithium. The DA 50-20 f/4-5.6 is a great sample (no issues with IQ like the one at PhotoZone.de) and I used it extensively before getting the DA 55-300 f/4-5.8 (and now I largely use the DA* 200 f/2.8 on my K20D).

Asking US$300 OBO shipped within 48 states, great starter kit for new dSLR users or backup system (just add wide angle lens). Will ship to Canada or other destinations for additional charge.

I'm really looking to hand this down as a "kit" for someone new to dSLR. That's what I bought it for myself back in 2006.

Getting the money for what a good sample DA 50-200, or the K100D body, on their own, would be difficult. But in combination, this is a great starter kid without having to drop over 2x as much for the K-x kit.
