Here's another beloved gem I am reluctant to part with -- SMC Pentax-F 100/2.8 Macro
1:1 auto focus macro lens. Due to underutilisation and limited time to shoot, finally decided to let go. Can be directly used on film or digital, autofocus or manualfocus cameras.
This F100/2.8 macro, not the much common FA100/2.8 or DFA100/2.8 Macro, is the first AF 100mm macro lens by Pentax, and rated the best one among all four versions:
F100/2.8, FA100/2.8, FA100/3.5 and DFA100/2.8. It's much better built than the current DFA100, and considered better built than the FA versions too (mostly due to better QC in the old days). The coating is slightly different from the current DFA100 macro lens. IQ wise, I also prefer the old F/FA one over the DFA version. In my opinion, F100/2.8 Macro is the best auto-focus Pentax 100mm Macro lens. AF is fast and useful for quick moving macro subjects. The lens also has a focus limiter that even the new macro lenses don't have, which makes the focusing much faster and is great for portrait shooting.

The lens is in excellent condition, some minor use mark on the barrel. Glass is crystal and flawless. Everything works as good as expected from a gem lens like this. A rather
