I wasn't really sure how to rate this one. If there was a "Very Good" choice I probably would have picked it. The filer ring is perfect, the lens is in perfect working order, and only has two relatively minor cosmetic issues. They are:

1. When I acquired this lens the serial number sticker was a sticky, gooey, illegible mess, so I removed it and cleaned the goo off.
2. There are some minor rub marks on the piece of plastic that forms the window, but they are not over the window itself.

Included are the original ribbed front cap, an empty filter ring, and what I believe is the correct rear cap.

I have taken some of my best shots with this lens, but I find myself focusing manually more and more, to the point that I am leaving my "A" 50mm 2.0 on the camera most of the time now. That being said, I like the 1.7 IQ somewhat better, so I would accept an equivalent condition A series 50mm f1.7 for a $80 reduction in price.

I'll add photos tonight when I get home.
EDIT: photos added, and I noticed there is a slight nick in the focus ring. You can see it in the third photo. It in no way affects operation. Also, Godzilla is sad that you haven't bought the lens yet.
