| [SOLD] Zeiss 50mm f/1.7 Planar T* - Pentax Mount (Worldwide) PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale Zeiss 50mm f/1.7 Planar T* - Pentax Mount Asking Price $325 USD Item Location Toronto, Canada Item Description Up for sale is a gem of a Zeiss 50mm "Planar" lens, which was originally Contax mount (AEJ), but has been carefully converted to Pentax K (manual aperture and focus) with a high-quality Leitax kit and instructions. It has perfect infinity focus and clicks on and off like the genuine article. All original parts will be included to return it to C/Y mount, just in case you have a Contax or non-Pentax body. So, this bright little beauty is light and compact, built like a BMW, and has the characteristic crispy sharpness and "3-D effect" of modern Zeiss lenses. The focus is smooth and the rounded-blade aperture is snappy at all settings. All glass surfaces, and the T* multicoating, are flawless (see below), and though this lens was designed for full-frame film, flare is quite well-controlled except in extreme contre-jour.
