Third party ones are readily found on eBay and Amazon. Quality seems to be adequate. Genuine Pentax ones turn up often enough on eBay.

I've got one that I haven't used since about 1980. It has 49mm threads as I used it with my 50mm lens. Here are a couple quick shots of it. I would sell it for 5 bucks and I will pay the postage.

WPRESTO - Great tip on AdapterRings.com. I was unaware of their existence until this thread. Amazing site, and more than just adapter rings. Took me about 45 minutes of browsing all their categories to fill up my cart with all sorts of miscellaneuos caps, rings, lens pouches and whatnots, that I've been in need of getting. Thanks for the tip.

You are most welcome. I came across the site during a GOOGLE search. It is definitely a good source for useful odds and ends at very attractive prices, and they have many well-regarded brand products that are probably discontinued items or overstocks.

I have obtained 49 mm and 52mm K mount adapters. All ready to reverse mount my K and M lens for some macro photography. Thanks to all who responded.
